The e Vitara marks Maruti Suzuki’s big step into EVs, showcasing a dedicated skateboard EV platform, two battery pack options (49 kWh and 61 kWh), and multiple power outputs. The 49 kWh 2WD version delivers around 142–144 bhp and ~189–192 Nm, while the larger 61 kWh battery produces about 172–171 bhp (2WD) with around 189 Nm, and an AWD variant with dual motors boosts torque and traction — making it competitive in both city and highway conditions.

The cabin is tech-rich, featuring a dual screen digital cockpit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and premium audio. Safety is robust with Level-2 ADAS, seven airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring, and a 360-degree camera on higher trims. The SUV also supports Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and comes with a growing EV service and charging ecosystem.
